Art plus thought is an electronic platform and publication that critically presents artistic activity through the texts of art theorists and historians. We publish essays, exhibition reviews, and interviews by art historians and art writers. Founded within an academic and theoretical context, our aim is to critically add to the dialogue amongst emerging scholars and artistically-minded writers on issues relating to contemporary art, reframing and interrogating art of the past, the nuanced and acute methods of curation as well as conversations within cultural theory.
Art plus thought is currently based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
